The second-largest deal was between Carrier Global Corp and Toshiba Carrier Corporation, while the third-largest deal was between Toppan Inc and Toppan Forms Co Ltd. The Carrier Global Corp-Toshiba Carrier Corporation deal and the Toppan Inc-Toppan Forms Co Ltd deal were valued at $868.0 million and $595.4 million, respectively. The fourth-largest deal was between Sanrio Co Ltd-YARUKI Switch Group Holdings valued at $474.8 million, whereas the deal between Geo Holdings L.P-Kokusai Kogyo Co Ltd valued at $213.2 million was the fifth-largest deal.
Cumulatively, the top five deals amounted to $3,971.4 million and accounted for nearly 77.54% of the total deals (by value) announced during the last twelve months.
