PAM Health to construct rehabilitation hospitals in US states
Each rehabilitation hospital is expected to provide employment for approximately 200 individuals.
PAM Health has announced plans to construct four new rehabilitation hospitals across four different states in the US.
This strategic move aims to broaden the availability of rehabilitative care to more communities throughout the country.
The proposed freestanding physical medicine and rehabilitation hospitals with 42 beds will cater to patients recovering from a range of debilitating conditions, such as traumatic brain and spinal cord injuries, neurological disorders, strokes, amputations, and orthopaedic and post-surgical issues.
Upon completion, each hospital is expected to provide employment for approximately 200 individuals.
PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Loveland will be the company's fourth establishment in Colorado, joining other PAM Health hospitals in Westminster, Greeley, and Denver.
Additionally, PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Bloomington will become the second facility in Indiana, complementing the PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Greater Indiana.
In Wisconsin, PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Green Bay will operate alongside PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Wausau as the second location in the state.
PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Casper is set to be the organisation's first venture in Wyoming.
PAM Health founder, chairman, and CEO Anthony Misitano said: “As a healthcare provider, PAM Health is always seeking opportunities to improve the health and well-being of the community.
“We look forward to offering residents of these areas a fresh, top-tier option for rehabilitation services.”
Through a vast network of more than 100 long-term acute care hospitals and physical medicine and rehabilitation hospitals, PAM Health provides specialised healthcare services.
Additionally, it operates outpatient physical therapy sites, wound clinics, and behavioural health hospitals in 17 states.
Last year, PAM Health unveiled plans to open a new rehabilitation hospital in San Antonio’s Westover Hills area.
