Hyatt links with Peloton on well-being loyalty programme
World of Hyatt, Hyatt Hotels Corporation’s loyalty programme, is teaming up with exercise equipment and media company Peloton to offer in-room video content and equipment.
Hyatt guests will be able to earn loyalty points when they exercise with Peloton to spend on future bookings, upgrades and experiences.
The collaboration is set to fit more than 800 Hyatt properties with Peloton equipment and provide access to Peloton classes on guestroom TVs at 400 properties by the end of 2024.
Peloton bikes will be deployed at each Hyatt hotel in markets where Peloton already operates – including the US, Canada, UK, Germany and Austria. Select Hyatt luxury and lifestyle hotels in US markets will also offer the brand's rowing machines.
The collaboration is driven by Hyatt booking data, which reports that travellers are now placing a higher emphasis on health and well-being amenities when planning their vacations.
Hyatt vice-president of well-being TJ Abrams commented: “Hyatt takes pride in setting a new standard of well-being for travel with new collaborations, products and experiences across our global portfolio that invite guests to lean into the transformative power of travel.”
The Peloton collaboration joins Hyatt’s roster of global well-being programming, including its Well-being Collective, a collection of properties across Hyatt’s portfolio that provide well-being offerings and immersive experiences for guests.
Hyatt recently announced a significant expansion of its World of Hyatt programme.
