ALDI Nord permanently cuts breakfast staples' prices by up to 21%
The new reduced pricing of breakfast products and staple foods came into effect from 6 May 2024.
ALDI Nord has implemented a significant price reduction strategy, slashing prices on breakfast products and staple foods by up to 21%.
The new pricing came into effect from 6 May 2024, marking a continued effort by the retailer to offer competitive pricing.
The price cuts include products such as UT organic basic muesli, MILSANI Alpighurt, MILSANI cream yoghurt, MORENO Family Cappuccino and the AMAROY cappuccino variants.
All the price changes follow earlier reductions in February 2024, when ALDI Nord permanently cut prices on staple items such as rice products by nearly 16%.
ALDI North and ALDI Süd also announced permanent price reductions in the same month on 20 other products from the cold cuts, bakery and red wine segments by up to 17%.
In April 2024 ALDI in the UK announced plans to continue its ongoing price reductions throughout the year, following an investment of £125m to lower the prices of 500 products since January.
This investment represents a quarter of the supermarket chain’s total range and a third of its fruit and vegetable offerings.
The initiative is part of ALDI's broader strategy to maintain its position as one of the most competitively priced grocers, particularly in the UK market.
