The company operates through off-price retail apparel and home fashion store banners such as Ross Dress for Less and dd’s DISCOUNTS. Ross stores offer men, women, and kid’s apparel, fashion and lifestyle accessories, footwear, jewelry, fragrances, gourmet food and cookware, bed and bath products, toys, home accessories, garden decor, furniture, luggage, and sporting goods.
The total GHG emissions of Ross Stores in 2021 were 353 thousand tonnes of CO2 equivalents, an increase of 24% over 2020.
GHG emissions are generally classified into Scope 1,2 & 3 emissions. Scope 1 includes direct GHG emissions from stationary fuel combustion and refrigerant gases. Scope 2 encompasses indirect GHG emissions from the on-site generation and purchase of electricity. Scope 3 involves all other indirect GHG emissions in Ross Stores’ value chain.
