The Carlin Mine is owned by Barrick Gold Corp, and is due to operate until 2032. The second largest gold-producing mine with an estimated gold production of 735.3 thousand ounces and an estimated 25.66 mmtpa of ROM, was the Cortez Mine located in Nevada. The Cortez Mine is owned by Barrick Gold Corp, and is due to operate until 2031.
