The number of active job postings in Slovakia decreased by 11.66% MoM, and decreased by 11.19% since October 2023, reaching 2,166 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 579 new jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 11.47% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 865 jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 22.35% more jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new jobs posted decreased by 22.07% and the number of jobs closed decreased by 0.46%
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new jobs posted observed a negative growth rate of 7.98%, the number of active job postings observed a negative growth rate of 3.88% and the number of jobs closed observed a negative growth rate of 0.15%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of jobs posted stood at 727, number of jobs closed stood at 827 and number of active jobs stood at 2,390.
