The number of active ESG related job postings driven by ESG in the Government and Non-Profit Organisations sector of the North America region decreased by 10.78% MoM, and decreased by 24.64% since October 2023, reaching 20,390 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 5,051 new ESG related jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing a decrease of 40.79% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 7,515 ESG related jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 37.56% fewer jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new ESG related jobs posted decreased by 50.29% and the number of ESG related jobs closed decreased by 13.28%.

Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of ESG related jobs posted stood at 8,515, the average number of ESG related jobs closed stood at 9,808 and the average number of active ESG related jobs stood at 24,164.
