Apple recently unveiled its next-generation smartphones: Apple iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Plus, iPhone 14 Pro, and iPhone 14 Pro Max. This time, the company substituted the Mini model with the Plus model. Owing to poor demand for the recent model, the Cupertino-based technology giant is limiting the production of iPhone 14. Customers would not want to pay more for a new model because they are getting a phone that is almost similar to the one they purchased in the previous year. Foxconn has been instructed to shut down at least five manufacturing lines that were producing iPhone 14 in Zhengzhou, China.
Apple iPhone 14 has the same display as the iPhone 13 model due to which customers are choosing iPhone 13 instead of the latest model. From Q1 2022, the company recorded a decline in revenue from iPhone to $40,665 million in Q3 2022. To increase sales and revenue, Apple is increasing the production of iPhone 14 Pro that is in high demand. The company is moving production resources from iPhone 14 to iPhone 14 Pro to meet the demand.
