The number of active job postings in the Construction sector of Niger increased by 50.85% MoM, and increased by 1.14% since October 2023, reaching 89 active job postings in January 2024.
A total of 49 new jobs were posted in January 2024, witnessing an increase of 58.06% as compared to the previous month. On the other hand, 19 jobs were closed in the same month implying that companies took out 50% fewer jobs than the month earlier. For the period from October 2023 to January 2024, the number of new jobs posted increased by 40% and the number of jobs closed decreased by 47.22%
In terms of Compound Monthly Growth Rate (CMGR) between October 2023 and January 2024, the number of new jobs posted observed a growth rate of 11.87%, the number of active job postings observed a growth rate of 0.38% and the number of jobs closed observed a negative growth rate of 19.19%. Between October 2023 and January 2024, the average number of jobs posted stood at 31, number of jobs closed stood at 31 and number of active jobs stood at 75.
