TriNet Group Inc: Executives

Mr. David C Hodgson has been the Chairman of the company since 2018. He is also a managing director of General Atlantic. Mr. Hodgson has over 40 years of experience identifying and assisting portfolio companies worldwide in all areas of their development. He serves on the Board of Directors of Johns Hopkins HealthCare and Johns Hopkins Medicine International.

Mr. Mike Simonds has been the Chief Executive Officer, President, and Director of the company since 2024. Prior to this he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Unum.

Ms. Kelly Tuminelli has been the Executive Vice President-Finance and Chief Financial Officer of the company since 2020. She also served as the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Genworth. Ms. Tuminelli holds 30 years of financial services experience in the insurance, investment and consulting industries. She also served as chair of the American Heart Association’s Richmond.

Mr. Michael Mendenhall has been the Chief Marketing Officer, Chief Communications Officer and Chief Marketing Officer of the company since 2018. Previously, he served as the served as IBM’s chief marketing officer and chief communications officer for IBM Watson and Cloud Platform. Mr. Mendenhall served as the chief marketing officer and chief communications officer at Flex.

Ms. Samantha Wellington has been the Chief Legal Officer, Executive Vice President and Secretary of the company since 2022. Prior to this, she served as the Chief Legal Officer, Senior Vice President and Secretary of the company since 2018. She also served as the Vice President and Associate General Counsel. Before joining TriNet, she was at Oracle Corporation where she served as the Managing Counsel for Oracle’s Corporate, Securities & Acquisitions Legal Team.
