Mr. Chadwick C. Deaton has been the Chairman of the company since 2019. Prior to this he worked as Director of the company since 2012.He served as Executive Chairman of Baker Hughes Incorporated from 2012 to 2013, prior to which he served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer since 2004. Mr. Deaton was the President, Chief Executive Officer and Director of Hanover Compressor Company from 2002 to 2004. He started his career with Schlumberger in 1976 and served numerous roles, including as Executive Vice President, Oilfield Services from 1998 to 1999 and as a Senior Advisor from 1999 until 2001. Mr. Deaton also works as Director of Air Products and Chemicals, Inc since 2010; Carbo Ceramics Inc since 2013; and Marathon Oil Corporation since 2014.

Mr. Jeremy D. Thigpen has been the Chief Executive Officer, President and Director of the company since 2015. Prior to this, he served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of National Oilwell Varco (NOV) since 2012. He also served as President of NOV's Downhole and Pumping Solutions business from 2007 until 2012, and from 2003 to 2007 served as President of NOV's Downhole Tools group. He joined National-Oilwell, Inc. in 1997.

Mr. Mark L. Mey has been the Executive Vice President and the Chief Financial Officer of the company since May 2015. Prior joining the company, he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Atwood Oceanics. Mr. Mey also worked as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer and a Director of Scorpion Offshore Ltd.

Mr. Keelan I. Adamson has been the President and Chief Operating Officer of Transocean, since 2022. Prior to this, he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, since 2018 to 2022. Prior to this, he was the company’s Senior Vice President of Operations from October 2017 to July 2018 and Senior Vice President, Operations Integrity and HSE, from June 2015 to October 2017. Mr. Adamson joined Transocean in 1995 and held leadership roles in Sales and Marketing, Well Construction and Technology, and as the Managing Director for the company's business in North America, Canada and Trinidad. He began his career as a Drilling Engineer with BP Exploration in 1991.

Mr. David A. Tonnel has been the Chief Accounting Officer and Senior Vice President of the company since April 2017. Prior to this, he served as Senior Vice President for Supply Chain and Corporate Controller of the company from 2015 to 2017; Senior Vice President of Finance and Controller from 2012 to 2015; and Senior Vice President of Transocean's Europe and Africa Unit from 2009 to 2012. Mr. Tonnel worked as Vice President of Global Supply Chain from 2008 to 2009; as Vice President of Integration and Process Improvement from 2007 to 2008; and from the year 2005 to 2007 he served as Vice President and Controller. Prior to 2005, he served in various financial roles, including Assistant Controller; Finance Manager, Asia Australia region; and Controller, Nigeria. Mr. Tonnel joined the company in 1996.
