The Israel Electric Corporation Ltd (IECL) is a public and government-owned power utility in Israel. The company generates power mainly through conventional energy sources. It builds, maintains, and operates power generation stations in Israel. The company classifies its operations into five reportable segments, namely, Generation, Transmission, System Management, Distribution and Consumer Supply Services. In FY2022, the company generated 47.6% of its revenue from residential, followed by public-commercial with 28%, , East Jerusalem Electricity Company and Palestinian Authority with 10.3%, industrial with 6.4%, infrastructure services with 3.1%, water pumping with 2.8%, and agricultural with 1.8%. Intends to support the improved efficiency, quality, improvement, reliability, and availability of electricity supply, and strives toward the minimization of costs. It also focuses to reduce the electricity system’s effect on the environment.
