Mr. Sir John Manzoni serves as Chairman of the company since 2021. Prior to this, he served as Director at the company since 2020. Mr. Manzoni has an experience of over 24 years with BP, where he held various senior roles including Chief Executive, and a Board member in Refining and Marketing and served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Talisman Energy.

Mr. Alistair Phillips Davies has been the Chief Executive Officer and Director of SSE since July 2013. Earlier, he joined the company in 1997, and held various senior roles, including Energy Supply Director, Director of Corporate Finance and Business Development, Director of Generation and Supply, and Deputy CEO. Prior to joining SSE, Mr. Davies worked for HSBC and National Westminster Bank. He also serves as the Vice President of Eurelectric, and Director of Scottish Energy Advisory Board and Accenture Global Energy Board.

Mr. Barry O’Regan has been the Director and Chief Financial Officer of the company since December 2023. Prior to this, he served as a Finance Director of SSE Renewables and Head of Corporate Finance across the whole of SSE Plc.

Mr. Martin Pibworth has been the Chief Commercial Officer of the company since 2022. Previously, he served as Director of Group Energy and Commercial since 2020, and Director of Group Energy from 2017. Prior to this, he served as the Managing Director in Wholesale division of the company in 2014 and Managing Director in Energy Portfolio Management in 2012. Earlier, he served as an Energy Trader in 1998.
