Mr. Matthew P. Wagner has been the Chairman of the company since January 2023. Prior to this, he served as the Chief Executive Officer and Director of PacWest Bancorp. He also serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Pacific Western Bank. Prior to this, he served as the President of the company since 2000. Mr. Wagner worked as a Director at Guaranty Bancorp from 2004 to 2010. Previously, he was the President and Chief Executive Officer of Western Bancorp from 1996 to 1999. Earlier, he served as an Executive Vice President from 1990 to 1996 and as a Senior Vice President from 1985 to 1990 at U.S. Bancorp.

Mr. Paul W. Taylor has been the Chief Executive Officer of the company since 2023. He also serves as the President and Director of the company. Prior to this, he served as the Chief Executive Officer, President, and Director of Opus Bank. Previously, he served as the Chief Executive Officer, President and Director at Guaranty Bancorp.

Mr. Kevin L. Thompson has been the Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of the company since November 2022. Previously, he served as the Chief Financial Officer of Midland States Bancorp, American Express Centurion Bank, First Foundation Inc, and Opus Bank.

Mr. Mark T. Yung has been the Chief Operating Officer, Executive Vice President, and Director of the Company and Pacific Western Bank since 2019. Mr. Yung was Co-founder and Managing Principal of OCV Management, LLC. Prior to this, he served as Managing Director of Orchard Capital Corp, a firm he joined in 2006. Mr. Yung served in various senior positions, which included Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Presbia PLC, Executive Chairman of Environmental Solutions Worldwide Inc, Chief Financial Officer and Director of Polymer Plainfield Holdings Inc, Chairman at Vantage Surgical Systems Inc, Director of Red Carpet Cinema Corporation and Director and Officer of Coreolis Holdings and Tradewinds Holdings. Previously, he served as a Senior Vice President in the Corporate Strategy and Merger and Acquisitions groups of Citigroup in New York and ABN AMRO in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Prior to his corporate strategy roles, Mr. Yung served as an investment professional at JPMorgan Partners (“JPMP”). At JPMP, he focused on venture capital, growth equity and buyout transactions in Latin America and served as a board member for various emerging companies in the region.

Ms. Monica L. Sparks has been the Chief Accounting Officer and Executive Vice President of the company since 2020. Prior to this, she served as the Chief Accounting Officer and Senior Vice President at American Business Bank from October 2018 to August 2020. Previously, she served as Chief Accounting Officer and Senior Vice President at Hope Bancorp between December 2017 and September 2018. Formerly, she served as Controller and Senior Vice President of California United Bank between February 2014 and December 2017. Earlier, she worked with KPMG LLP from 2001 to 2014.
