Nohmi Bosai Ltd (Nohmi) manufactures and supplies a broad range of fire protection systems. The company develops, markets, installs and maintains various fire protection systems such as automatic fire alarm systems, hinged fire doors, foam systems and environmental monitoring systems. It also offers maintenance and inspection services. The company serves various sectors including home, commercial, and industrial facilities. The company classifies its operations into four segments: Fire Alarm Systems, Fire Extinguishing Systems, Maintenance Services and Others. In FY2023, the company incurred a capital expenditure of JPY3,025 million which declined 27.9% YoY.
R&D Overview
R&D efforts focus on performing simulation experiments in the company's laboratories, which enable it to develop fire alarms and extinguishing systems that provide an optimum degree of fire protection to the customer. Currently, the company is working on the development of new disaster prevention systems and equipment's. This includes improvement to fire alarms to make it compatible with a wide range of environment conditions.
