Mr. Ian Pearce serves as the Chairman of New Gold. Prior to this, he served as partner at X2 Resource from 2013 to 2017 and the Chief Executive Officer at Xstrata Nickel from 2006 and 2013. He also served as the Chief Operating Officer and other Executive roles at Falconbridge Ltd from 2003 to 2006. He held several positions at Fluor Inc from 1993 to 2003. He served as the Chairman of Nevsun Resources Ltd and Nexa Resources S.A. Mr. Pearce also serves as Chair of the Board of MineSense Technologies Ltd and a Director of NextSource Materials Inc, Northland Power Inc. and Metso Outotec Corporation.

Mr. Patrick Godin has been the President, Chief Executive Officer and a Director of the company since November 2022. Prior to this, he served as the Chief Operating Officer of the company. He served as the Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Pretium Resources Inc. Previously, he held various roles at Stornoway Diamond Corp including the President, Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operating Officer and a Director. Mr. Godin served as a Director at Nemaska Lithium and Mason Graphite Inc.

Mr. Keith Murphy has been the Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of the company since 2024. Before this, he served as the Vice President of Finance of the company. He has experience in the areas of financial reporting, taxation, and finance.

Mr. Yohann Bouchard has been an Executive Vice President and the Chief Operating Officer of the company since April 2023. Prior to this, he served as the Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Yamana Gold.
