Mr. Michael William Thomas Brown has been the Chief Executive Officer and a Director of the company since 2010. Prior to this, he served as the Chief Financial Officer of thecompany from 2004. Previously, Mr. Brown served as an Executive Director of BoE Limited, and after the merger between the company, BoE, NIB and CoGHB, he served as the Head of Property Finance at the company.

Mr. Michael Davis serves as the Chief Financial Officer and director of the company since 2020. Previously, he served as the Executive for Balance Sheet Management and has been a member of the Executive Committee of the company.

Mr. Mfundo Clement Nkuhlu has been the Chief Operating Officer and a Director of the company since January 2015. Prior to this, he served as a Managing Executive of Nedbank Corporate from 2009 to 2015; as a Member of Group Exco in 2008; as the Head of Corporate Banking in 2005; and the Head of Nedbank Africa in 2004. Prior to joining Nedbank, Mr. Nkuhlu was the executive responsible for strategy, revenue and economic analysis at the South African Revenue Services (SARS) and Chief Director in the DTI responsible for Africa and NEPAD.

Mr. Fred Swanepoel has been the Chief Information Officer of the company since November 2008. He had joined Nedbank to run regional operations, Western Cape. In 2000 Mr. Swanepoel brought his operational experience into the company’s technology arena and was appointed Nedbank Group’s Chief Information Officer in November 2008. Prior to this, Mr. Swanepoel held several high-level positions in the technology environment, including Divisional Director for Finance, Risk and Compliance, Projects and Programme Management, and Head of Group Software Services. He has significantly repositioned Group Technology to deliver a simplified and agile technology landscape.

Mr. David Crewe Brown has been the Chief Risk Officer of the company since April 2023. Earlier, he served as the Chief Finance and Operating Officer of Retail & Business Banking within the company. He holds over 28 years of experience in finance, operations, credit, capital management and regulatory reporting in the financial services industry.
