Mr. Shunichi Miyanaga has been the Chairman of the company since April 2019. Prior to this, he served as the President, Chief Executive Officer and Director of the company. Mr. Miyanaga was Senior Executive Vice President and Head of the Presidential Administration Office of the company from 2011 to 2013. He joined MHI in 1972.

Mr. Seiji Izumisawa has been the Chief Executive Officer and President of the company since April 2020. Prior to this, he worked as the Executive Vice President, Chief Strategy Officer, Head of Business Strategy Office and Director of MHI from June 2018. Mr. Izumisawa served as a Director of the company since June 2017. Prior to that, he served as the Senior Vice President and Senior General Manager, Technology Strategy Office of the company.

Mr. Hisato Kozawa has been the Chief Financial Officer, Director and Executive Vice President of the company since June 2020. Prior to this, he served as the Senior General Manager, Legal & General Affairs Department of the company from April 2014. Mr. Kozawa joined MHI in the year 1982.

Mr. Masayuki Suematsu has been the Chief Strategy Officer and Executive Vice President of the company since April 2023. Prior to this, he served as a Senior Vice President and Head of Business Strategy Office, Vice President, Logistics, Thermal & Drive Systems of the company.

Mr. Masanori Ushida has been the President and Chief Executive Officer of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Aero Engines since April 2022.Previously, he served as Member of the Board and Senior Vice President of Commercial Engines of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Aero Engines.
