Mr. Robert M. Davis has been Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of the company since 2022. Prior to this he served as the President, Director, and Chief Executive Officer at Merck from 2021 to 2022. Mr. Davis also served as Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of Global Services at the company. Previously, he was the Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of the company from 2014 to 2016, and the Corporate Vice President and President of Baxter’s Medical Products business from 2010 to 2014. In addition, he was the Treasurer of Baxter Healthcare from 2004 to 2006, and the Corporate Vice President and President of Baxter Healthcare from 2006 to 2010. Earlier, he also served as the Director of Corporate Financial Planning at Eli Lilly and Company from 2002 to 2004, and as the Assistant Treasurer and various financial positions of Eli Lilly and Co from 1990 to 2002.

Ms. Caroline Litchfield has been the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the company since 2021. Prior to this, she held many positions in the company, including the Chief of Finance for Human Health from 2014 to 2018 and Treasurer.

Mr. Michael Klobuchar has been the Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer of the company since 2021. Previously, he was the Senior Vice President and Finance Lead at Merck Research Laboratories. Prior to that, Mr. Klobuchar served as the company’s Senior Vice President, Corporate Strategy and Financial Planning, and President, Merck Global Health Innovation Fund.

Mr. Cristal N. Downing has been the Executive Vice President and Chief Communications & Public Affairs Officer of the company since August 2021. Prior to this, he served as Vice President of Medical Devices, Global Communications and Public Affairs, at Johnson & Johnson from December 2020 to August 2021); Vice President Financial Communication, at Johnson & Johnson from January 2018 to December 2020; and also, Senior Director of Communications at Johnson & Johnson.

Mr. David M. Williams has been the Executive Vice President and Chief Information and Digital Officer of the company since August 2020. Prior to this, he was the Acting Chief Information and Digital Officer of the company from December 2019 to August 2020; Vice President and Chief Information Officer of Merck Animal Health from May 2017 to December 2019. He has also been the Associate Vice President and Chief Information Officer of Merck Animal Health.
