Mr. Bernd Pischetsrieder has been the Chairman of the company since 2021. He served as an advisor to the Board of Management of Volkswagen AG (VW AG) from 2007 to 2012. He served as Chairman of VW AG from 2002 to 2006. He joined as a member of the Board of Management of Volkswagen AG in 2000. Prior to this role, he served as Chairman at BMW AG since 1993; he joined as Board of Management of BMW AG in 1991. Previously, he served as Director for Production, Development, Purchasing and Logistics in Pretoria, South Africa at BMW AG since 1982. He joined the Production Planning area at BMW AG in 1973.

Mr. Ola Kallenius has been the Chief Executive Officer of the company since 2019. Prior to this, he served as a Member of the Board of Management at Group Research & Mercedes-Benz Cars Development; a Member of the Board of Management and Divisional Board of Mercedes-Benz Cars Marketing & Sales; Member of the Divisional Board, Mercedes-Benz Cars Marketing & Sales for Daimler AG. Mr. Kallenius has also served as the Vice President and Managing Director of Mercedes-AMG GmbH, Affalterbach; Vice President, President, and Chief Executive Officer of Mercedes-Benz U.S. International Inc; Managing Director of Mercedes-Benz High-Performance Engines Ltd; in various senior management positions including Executive Director of Operations at McLaren Automotive Ltd and; Director of Procurement Mercedes-Benz Cars Powertrain at DaimlerChrysler, among others.

Mr. Markus Schafer has been the Chief Technology Officer of the company since December 2021. Prior to this, he served as Chief Operating Officer at Group Research & Mercedes-Benz Cars; Member of the Board of Management at Group Research and Mercedes-Benz Cars Development; Member of the Divisional Board for Mercedes-Benz Cars Production & Supply Chain at Daimler AG; Vice President for Manufacturing Engineering Mercedes-Benz Passenger Cars at Daimler AG; Vice President, President, and Chief Executive Officer at Mercedes-Benz U.S. International Inc; Director of Production Strategy at Daimler AG; Director of Engineering at Mercedes-Benz U.S. International Inc; Plant Manager of CKD-Assembly Plant at Joint Venture EGA; Project and Plant Manager of CKD-Assembly Plant at Joint Venture EGA; Team Leader Of Project Planning Overseas Projects at Daimler-Benz AG; among others.
