Mr. C. Howard Nye has been the Chairman, President, and Chief Executive Officer of the company since 2014. Prior to this, he served as the Chief Operating Officer of the company from 2006 to 2009. Mr. Howard served as an Executive Vice President of North American building materials business at Hanson Plc. He also served as a Director of General Dynamics Corporation. Earlier, he was the Chairman of National Stone, Sand & Gravel Association (NSSGA), the American Road Transportation Builders Association (ARTBA), and the North Carolina Chamber.

Mr. James A. J. Nickolas has been the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the company since 2023. Prior to this, he served as the Senior Vice President of the company. Mr. Nickolas also served as the Head of Corporate Development at Caterpillar Inc. He also served as the Chief Financial Officer of Caterpillar’s Resources Industries segment from 2014 to 2016; and its Global Mining business unit from 2012 to 2014. He served as a Director at J.P. Morgan Securities Inc.

Mr. Robert J. Cardin has been the Senior Vice President, Controller and Chief Accounting Officer of the company since 2019. Prior to this, he served as the Chief Accounting Officer, and Interim Chief Financial Officer for SWM International. Previously, he worked as the Corporate Controller at Syncreon International Group; and Assistant Corporate Controller and Group Controller at Dentsply International. Mr. Robert served as the Division Controller and Vice President of Finance and Accounting with Collins and Aikman Automotive Products.

Ms. Kelly G. Bennett has been the Chief Human Resources Officer and Senior Vice President of the company since 2024. Prior to this, he served as the Senior Vice President of Human Resources from 2023 2024 and the Vice President of Total Rewards from 2018 to 2023. Ms. Bennett also worked at Harris Williams & Co. and Lehigh Hanson.
