Mr. John Kingman has been the Chairman of the group since October 2016. Previously, he served as the Chief Executive of UK Financial Investments Ltd (UKFI). Mr. Kingman also served as the Global Co-Head of the Financial Institutions Group at Rothschild from 2010 to 2012. He is also the Chairman of UK Research and Innovation, and Tesco Bank, and as Trustee of the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden Foundation.

Mr. Jeff Davies has been the Group Chief Financial Officer and Director of the group since March 2017. He served as the Senior Partner at Ernst & Young LLP. Previously, he served in a number of senior actuarial roles at Swiss Re Life & Health. Presently, he serves as Chair of Legal & General America Inc.

Ms. Karan Martin has been the Chief Operating Officer of the company since August 2022. Prior to this she served as a Chief Operating Officer at Legal & General America.

Mr. Tarun Gupta has been the Chief Medical Officer of the company since January 2023. Prior to this, he served as a Medical Officer in the company from 2020 to 2022. Previosuly, he served as Occupational Physician and Specialist Advisor to the Care Quality Commission.

Mr. Kerrigan Procter has been the President of Asia-Pacific, Legal and General of the group since July 2021. Prior to this, he served as the Chief Executive Officer of Legal & General Capital and the Chief Executive Officer of Legal & General Retirement from January 2013 to 2017. Previously, he served as the Head of Solutions at Legal & General Investment Management from 2006 to 2012. Mr. Procter served in several roles under financial markets division in at RBS including Head of Pensions Advisory, Head of Credit Risk Measurement and Director of Interest Rate Derivative Structuring. He was associated with Ernst & Young Corporate Finance in 1994 and also served at Mercer as Investment Consultant.
