Mr. Koenraad Debackere has been the Chairman of the company since 2020. Previously, he served as a General Manager and a Director of KU Leuven and Associatie KU Leuven. Prior to this, he served as a Director of KBC Insurance NV from 2005 to 2017. Mr. Debackere started his career as a Professor for technology and innovation at the Faculty of Economics and Business at KU Leuven in 1995.

Mr. Philippe Vlerick has been the Vice Chairman of the company. Prior to this role, he served as Interim Chairman of the company since 2020.

Mr. Johan Thijs has been the Chief Executive officer and Director of the company since 2012. Prior to this, he served as the Chief Executive Officer of Belgium Business Unit of the company. He also served as the Senior General Manager of Non-Life Insurance at KBC Insurance. Previously, he served as a Regional Manager of Limburg and Eastern Belgium at KBC Insurance. Mr. Thijs held various positions in ABB Insurance, which includes Head of Non-Life Department at Limburg regional office.

Mr. Luc Popelier has been the Chief Financial Officer and Director of the company since 2021. Prior to this, he served as Chief Executive Officer of the International Markets Business Unit in the company. Previously, he served as Group Chief Financial Officer of KBC. He also served as a Member of the Executive Committee at KBC Group and KBC Asset Management. Earlier, he held various positions in the company.

Ms. Christine Van Rijsseghem has been the Chief Risk Officer and Director of the company since 2014. Previously, she served as the Senior General Manager of Group Finance department in the company. She also served as the Senior General Manager of Securities and Derivatives Processing Directorate unit of the company. Prior to that, she was the Chief Executive Officer of KBC London and KBC France. Earlier, she served as the Head of Credit Department of Irish Intercontinental Bank, and Head of Central Department of Foreign Entities.
