Independent Bank Group Inc: Executives

Mr. David R Brooks has been the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the company since October 2016. He also serves as Chairman of Capital Southwest Corporation. Previously, Mr. Brooks served as the Chief Financial Officer at Baylor University from 2000 to 2004. He also served as President of the Board of Trustees of the McKinney Independent School District for five years.

Mr. Paul Langdale has been the Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of the company since July 2022. Prior to this he served as a Executive Vice President, Corporate Development and Strategy of the company. Mr. Langdale joined the company in 2018.

Mr. Michael B Hobbs has been the Chief Operating Officer and President of the company since 2021. He also served as the Executive Vice President and Chief Lending Officer of the company. Prior to this, he served as President and Director at Guaranty Bancor. Mr. Hobbs served at KeyBank, Bank of America and St. Charles Capital. He also served as the President and Director of Guaranty Bank and Trust Company.

Mr. John G. Turpen has been the Executive Vice President and Chief Risk Officer of the company. Prior to this, he served as the Chief Risk Officer of Texas Capital Bank from September 2018 to February 2021. Mr. Turpen has over 25 years of experience in the banking industry.
