Mr. Gerald J. Ford has been the Chairman of the company since August 2007. He also serves as the Co-Managing Partner of Ford Financial Fund II, L.P., and Ford Financial Fund III, L.P. Prior to this, Mr. Ford served as Director of the company in 2005. He also served as interim Chief Executive Officer of Hilltop and Chairman of Pacific Capital Bancorp and Triad Financial Corporation.

Mr. Jeremy B. Ford has been the Chief Executive Officer, President and Director of the company since March 2010. He also serves as the Chairman of First Acceptance Insurance Company, Inc. Prior to this, Mr. Ford served as a Principal of Ford Financial Fund, L.P., a private equity fund. He worked at Liberte Investors Inc., California Federal Bank, FSB, and Salomon Smith Barney. Mr. Ford also served at Diamond A-Ford Corporation from 2004 to 2008. He also served as a Director of First Acceptance Corporation from 2000 to 2004.

Mr. William B. Furr has been the Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of the company since 2016. Prior to this, he served Executive Vice President and Community Bank Chief Financial Officer of KeyCorp. He also held several financial roles at Bank of America Corporation and Regions Financial Corporation.

Mr. Toby Pennycuff has been the Chief Information Officer of Hilltop since May 2017. Previously, he served as Head of Information Technology at Essex Property Trust and has 40 years of experience in the information technology industry. He held several senior IT leadership positions for EDS (acquired by Hewlett Packard in 2008), JC Penney and PennMann Technology.

Mr. Darren E. Parmenter has been the Chief Administrative Officer since September 2016. Prior to this, he was Principal Finance Officer of Hilltop since 2014. Previously, Mr. Parmenter served as Senior Vice President of Finance of Hilltop Holdings. He also worked with Hilltop’s predecessor, Affordable Residential Communities Inc., from 2000 to 2007. Mr. Parmenter served as the Controller of Operations from 2002 to 2007.
