Ms. Kathy Sandstrom has been the Chairman of the company since April 2023. Prior to this, she served as the Senior Managing Director and Global Head at Heitman LLC's Public Real Estate Securities business from 2013 to 2018. Ms. Sandstrom held several senior leadership positions in multiple roles in the institutional real estate investment industry. Previously, she served as Board of Director of the company since 2018 and as Vice Chair since 2022. She also serves as the member of the boards of directors at EastGroup Properties, Inc. and Urban Edge Properties.

Mr. Scott M. Brinker has been the President, Chief Executive Officer, and Director of the company since 2022. Previously, he served as the Chief Investment Officer from 2020 to 2022, an Executive Vice President from 2018 until 2019 of the company. Prior to this, Mr. Brinker served as an Executive Vice President and Chief Investment Officer at Welltower Inc from 2001 to 2017.

Mr. Peter A. Scott has been the Chief Financial Officer of the company since 2017. Previously, he served as an Executive Vice President of the company from 2017 to 2021. Prior to this, Mr. Scott served as the Managing Director at Real Estate Banking Group of Barclays from 2014 to 2017. served as the Managing Director of Real Estate Banking Group of Barclays from 2014 to 2017. He held several managerial positions at Credit Suisse from 2011 to 2014, Barclays from 2008 until 2011 and Lehman Brothers from 2002 to 2008.

Mr. Thomas M. Klaritch has been the Chief Operating Officer of the company since 2017. Previously, he served as the Chief Development Officer, an Executive Vice President from 2019 to 2021, Executive Vice President for Medical Office Properties from 2008 until 2017, and as the Senior Vice President for Medical Office Properties of the company from 2003 to 2008. He served as the Chief Financial Officer and a Co-Founder of MedCap Properties LLC.

Mr. Shawn Johnston has been the Chief Accounting Officer and an Executive Vice President of the company since 2019. Prior to this, he served as the Senior Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer of the company from 2017 to 2019. Previously, he served as the Chief Accounting Officer and Vice President at UDR Inc from 2016 to 2017; and Vice President and Controller of UDR Inc from 2013 to 2016. He served as Interim Principal Financial Officer of UDR in 2016. Earlier, he served as the Chief Accounting Officer at American Residential Communities LLC. He served at Ernst & Young LLP Audit Department from 2002 to 2010.
