It offers livestock, farm supplies, grains, financial services, and real estate services. The company operates through four reportable segments, namely, Branch Network, Wholesale Products, Feed and Processing Services; Corporate Services and Other Costs. The company’s operations are primarily concentrated in Australia. It also distributes premium meat in China.
Business Segments
Overview
Includes the provision of a range of products and services through a common distribution channel, including agricultural retail products, agency and real estate services and financial services. It also has 50% interest in online livestock auction platform, AuctionPlus, and 30% interest in Clear Grain Exchange (CGX), an online grain trading platform. The retail products include farm supplies such as animal health products, fertilizers, seeds, agricultural chemicals and general farm supplies. Provides real estate services such as support in buying and selling of farms, lifestyle properties and stations. It also offers property management in major population centers and other services such as water and home loan broking. Offers various financial services in insurance and banking segment. It has partnered with StockCo and Rural Bank for livestock funding and banking products. It provides general insurance through its subsidiary, Elders Insurance.
