Mr. Shawn Qu has been the Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Canadian Solar since 2001. Prior to this, he held various positions in product engineering, business development and strategic planning at ATS Automation Tooling Systems and its subsidiary, Photowatt International SA. Mr. Qu served as a research scientist at Ontario Power Generation and Visiting Professor at Tsinghua University.

Mr. Huifeng Chang has been the Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Director of the company since 2020. He has 17 years of experience in capital markets, financial investment and risk management. Prior to joining the company, Mr. Chang served as the Co-Head of Sales & Trading at the US subsidiary of China International Capital Corporation from 2010 to 2015; Chief Executive Officer of CSOP Asset Management Limited from 2008 to 2010; Vice President of and an equity proprietary trader at Citigroup Equity Proprietary Investments from 2000 to 2008; and worked at Kamakura Corporation in Hawaii as a Risk Consultant to banks in Asia.
