Mr. Gregory E. Abel has been the Chairman of the company since 2000. He also serves as the Vice Chairman of Berkshire Hathaway Inc since 2018. Mr. Abel served as a Director and the Vice Chairman of Edison Electric Institute and AEGIS Insurance Services, Inc., and Director of The Kraft Heinz Company and Nuclear Electric Insurance Limited. He served as the Chief Executive Officer and President of Berkshire Hathaway Energy from 1998 to 2018. Prior to his, he served as the Chairman of PacifiCorp. He had extensive management experience in the energy industry. Mr. Abel served as a director of Mid-Iowa Council Boy Scouts of America, Drake University board of trustees and American Football Coaches Foundation.

Mr. William J. Fehrman has been the Chief Executive officer and President of the company since 2006. He serves as the Chief Executive Officer and the Chairman of the PacifiCorp. Prior to this, he held various Executive positions in PacifiCorp Energy, MidAmerican Energy, BHE Renewables. Mr. Fehrman serves as member of the National Infrastructure Advisory Council and the Vice Chairman of Member Executive Committee in the Electricity Information Sharing and Analysis Center.

Ms. Cathy S. Woollums has been the Chief Sustainability Officer and Senior Vice President of the company since 2018. She serves as the Iowa State Bar Association’s Environmental and Natural Resources Section Council. Ms. Woollums served in the Iowa Climate Change Advisory Council. Prior to this, she served as Clerk for the judges in the Seventh Judicial District of Iowa. She had experience in environmental management and litigation.
