Mr. Thomas E. Polen has been the Chairman of the company since 2021. He also serves as the President, Chief Executive Officer, and a member of the Board since January 2020. Before that he served as the Chief Operating Officer of the company from 2018 to 2020. Prior to this, he served as the President of BD Diagnostics Systems division, the Group President of BD Medical Surgical Systems and BD Pharmaceutical Systems divisions and as the Segment President of BD Medical. Mr. Polen served as the Vice President of Strategic Marketing and a General Manager at Baxter Healthcare since 2004. He also held a variety of sales and marketing positions with increasing responsibility in BD Diagnostics Systems and BD Biosciences from 1999 to 2004.

Mr. Christopher DelOrefice has been the Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of the company since 2021. Previously he served in several leadership roles at Johnson & Johnson including Vice President of Investor Relations, Vice President of Finance, North America Hospital Medical Devices and Vice President of Finance, North America.

Mr. Vishy Kanda is the Chief Strategy Officer and Senior Vice President of the company. He also serves as the Senior Vice President and Head of Strategy and Business Development for BD’s Medical segment. Prior to this, he served as the Vice President and General Manager for new commercial models, and Vice President of strategy and innovation. Previously, he also served as an Associate Principal at McKinsey & Company.

Ms. Denise Fleming is the Chief Information Officer and the Executive Vice President of Technology and Global Services of the company. Prior to this, she served as the Vice President of IT and CIO of Boeing Defense, Space & Security. Previously, she served as the Vice President, Business Technology & Application Solutions and also served in various positions at Sprint.

Ms. Elizabeth McCombs is the Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer of the company. Prior to this role, she served as Senior Vice President of R&D for the BD Medical Segment. She began her career at Johnson & Johnson (J&J) Ethicon Endo-Surgery including director for the J&J Corporate Office of Science and Technology, Vice President of Surgical Innovation for the Ethicon franchise; and most recently, as Vice President of R&D for Ethicon.
