Ascopiave SpA (Ascopiave), a subsidiary of Asco Holding SpA, operates in natural gas distribution, cogeneration and heat management sectors. The company also operates in the water sector, being a shareholder and technological partner of the company Cogeide, operating in integrated urban water management. As of 31 December 2022, Ascopiave owned concessions and direct assignments for the supply of the service in 306 municipalities through a distribution network extending for more than 14,600 km providing services to an area of approximately 902,000 customers. The company operates through two reportable business segments: Gas Distribution and Other. Ascopiave focuses on the expansion and upgrade of its distribution network and enhancement of energy efficiency. In FY2022, the company’s investments stood at EUR87.0 million, which grew 63.2% YoY. It made investments mainly on the development, maintenance and renovation of gas distribution networks and plants and the installation of metering equipment.
