Mr. R Kipp deVeer has been the Chief Executive Officer and Director of the company since 2015. He served as the President of the company from 2013 to 2014. Mr. deVeer joined Ares in 2004. Mr. Scott C Lem has been the Chief Financial Officer of the companyz since 2024. prior to this he served as Chief Accounting Officer, Vice President and Treasurer of the company since 2019. Previously, he served as an Assistant Treasurer at the company from 2009 to 2013. Prior to that, he served as a Controller at Ares Management from 2003 to 2008.

Ms. Penni F Roll has been the Chief Financial Officer of the company since 2010. Previously, she served as the Chief Financial Officer at Allied Capital Corporation from 1998 to 2010. Ms. Roll joined Allied Capital Corporation in 1995 as its Controller after serving as a Manager at KPMG LLP's financial services practice.
