Mr. Hakan Binbasgil has been the Vice-Chairman and Executive Board Member of the company since October 2023. Prior to this, he served as the Chief Executive Officer and a Director of the bank since January 2012.

Mrs. Suzan Sabanci Dincer has been the Chairwoman of Akbank T.A.S. since March 2008. Prior to this, she served in the roles of Executive Vice President in charge of treasury, executive board member in charge of treasury and international relations and Executive Board Member in charge of all matters of the board of directors in the bank. Mrs. Dincer is the Honorary Consul of Luxembourg and a member of Citigroup's International Advisory Board, the National Bank of Kuwait's International Advisory Board, Blackstone's International Advisory Board, the Chatham House Panel of Senior Advisers, the Institute of International Finance Board of Directors and Emerging Markets Advisory Board.

Mr. Kaan Gur has been the Chief Executive Officer of the company since October 2023.

Mr. Turker Tunali has been the Chief Financial Officer of the bank since October 2017. He also serves as the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors at Ak Portfoy Yonetimi, a Member of the Supervisory Board of Akbank AG, and a Member of the Board of Directors at Ak Finansal Kiralama and Akode Elektronik Para ve Odeme Hizmetleri.
