Mr. Richard A. Gonzalez has been the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of AbbVie since 2013. Prior to this, he served as Abbott’s Executive Vice President of the Pharmaceutical Products Group from 2010 to 2012. Before that, he worked as President of Abbott Ventures Inc, Abbott’s medical technology investment arm from 2009 to 2011. He joined Abbott in 1977.

Mr. Scott T. Reents has been the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the company since 2022. Prior to this, he served as Vice President of Tax and Treasury from 2019 to 2022. Earlier to this, he worked as Vice President of Tax from 2013 to 2019.

Mr. Robert A. Michael has been the President and Chief Operating Officer of the company since July. Prior to this, he served as a Vice Chairman and President and various other leadership roles in the company. Prior to this, he served various leadership roles at Abbott.

Mr. Thomas J. Hudson has been the Senior Vice President, Research & Development and Chief Scientific Officer of the company since 2022. Prior to this, he served as Vice President, Head of Oncology Discovery and Early Development from 2016 to 2019. Earlier joining to AbbVie, Mr. Hudson served as President and Scientific Director at Ontario Institute for Cancer Research. He also worked as Founder and Director of the McGill University and Genome Quebec Innovation Centre along with Assistant Director of the Whitehead/MIT Center for Genome Research.

Mr. Nicholas Donoghoe has been the Executive Vice President and Chief Business and Strategy Officer of the company since 2023. Previously, he served in various roles at AbbVie’s Therapeutic and Aesthetic businesses. He was also a partner at McKinsey.
