Mr. Hassan Abdalla is the acting Governor of the bank. Previously, he served as the Chairman of United Media Services Company and was the Chief Executive Officer and Vice Chairman of the Arab African International Bank. He also served as a Director of the Central Bank of Egypt and the Founder of “We Owe It to Egypt” Foundation.

Mr. Rami Abulnaga has been the Deputy Governor of the bank since 2019. Previously, he served in the Treasury department of the Commercial International Bank. He also served as a Director of Egypt Post Authority, Egyptian Banking Company for Technological Advancement (EBC), Egyptian Central Securities Depository (ECSD), and CI Capital.

Mr. Gamal Negm has been the Deputy Governor of the bank since 2011. Previously, he served as the Chairman of Credit Guarantee Company (CGC). He also served as the Sub-Governor of the bank. Prior to this, he served as the Assistant Sub-Governor of Onsite Supervision.

Mr. Fahmy Hanna has been the Chairman of the Bank since November 2023. Prior to this, he served as a Deputy General Manager and Regional Director of Corporate Banking at the Egyptian American Bank. Previously, he served as an Assistant Managing Director and Head of Corporate Banking at the Egyptian Gulf Bank.

Ms. Naglaa Anwar Al Ahwani is a Director of the bank. Previously, she served as the Chairman of the French University Board of Trustees in Egypt. He also served as a Deputy Director and Lead Economist at the Egyptian Center for Economic Studies, and Director of the European Studies Centre.
