GlobalData's comprehensive and authoritative PARC database details the number of passenger vehicles in operation (parc) by each major marque, by fuel type, and age segmentation for 42 major markets. GlobalData’s parc database is the result of a unique interview program that supplements an exhaustive review of industry data sources to allow clients to explore passenger vehicles in operation and target resources more effectively.

Our model was constructed using many sources, both primary and secondary. Primary research was conducted on a business-to-business level, with 3,000 respondents being contacted, while extensive secondary research was conducted to supplement primary research looking at registration data, economic data, annual reports and conference presentations.
