Surgutneftegas carries out exploration and production of hydrocarbons; manufacturing and marketing of refined products; manufacturing of petrochemicals; gas processing, and power generation. The company’s operations are focused on three largest Russian oil and gas provinces, namely, Western Siberia, Eastern Siberia, and Timano-Pechora. The company operates through three reportable business segments, Exploration and Production; Refining and Sale; and other activities. Other Activities includes other non-significant activities, banking operations and production of other goods, works and services. The company also operate oil refining operations through its subsidiary Kirishinefteorgsintez LL. Along with this, the company also sells a wide range of petrochemical products through KINEF LLC, this includes normal butane, isobutane, toluene, paraffins of C10-C13, C13, C14-C17 fractions, linear alkylbenzene (LAB), alkylbenzenesulfonic acid (ABSA), polyalkylbenzene (PAB-C), liquid sulfur, lumpy and granular. The company’s distribution network is represented by five enterprises which provide wholesale and retail sales, services, storage of petroleum, and additional services. These five enterprises include Kirishiavtoservice LLC, SO Tvernefteprodukt LLC, Pskovnefteprodukt LLC, OOO Kaliningradnefteprodukt and Novgorodnefteprodukt.
