Mr. Jay L. Schottenstein has been the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the company since 2015. Prior to this, he served as Interim Chief Executive Officer of the company from 2014 to 2015. Previously, Mr. Schottenstein served as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the company from 1992 to 2002 and as a Vice President and Director of its predecessors in 1980. He also served as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Schottenstein Stores Corp (SSC) in 1992 and as President in 2001. Earlier, he served as the Vice Chairman of SSC from 1986 to 1992. He served as a Director of SSC in 1982. Mr. Schottenstein also served as the Chief Executive Officer from 2005 to 2009 and as a Chairman and Director in 2005 of DSW Inc. He has also served as a Director for Alberstons Companies Inc in 2006. Mr. Schottenstein also served as a Director of various other entities.

Mr. Michael A. Mathias has been the Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of the company since 2020. Previously, he served as the Senior Vice President and head of Financial Planning and Analysis at AEO from 2017 to 2020. Prior to this, Mr. Mathias served as Vice President Financial Planning and Analysis at General Nutrition Centers Inc from 2016 to 2017. He also served as President and Managing Partner of SY Ventures from 2014 to 2016. Mr. Mathias joined the company in 1998 and held several key financial and operational roles.

Mr. Michael R. Rempell has been the Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President of the company since 2012. Previously, he served as an Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at New York Design Center from 2009 to 2012. He also served as the Senior Vice President and Chief Supply Chain Officer from 2006 to 2009; and in various other positions in 2000.

Ms. Marisa A. Baldwin has been the Chief Human Resources Officer and Executive Vice President of the company since 2021. Prior to this, she served as the Chief Human Resources Officer of Ascena Retail Group/ANN Inc from 2019 to 2021. Previously, he served ANN INC as the Senior Vice President of Human Resources and Corporate Communications from 2015 to 2019 and as Vice President of Human Resources from 2011 to 2015. Earlier, Ms. Baldwin served in human resources leadership roles at Starbucks Corp and Diageo North America Inc.

Ms. Sarah Clarke has been the Chief Supply Chain Officer and Executive Vice President of the company. Prior to this, she served as a Global Chief Supply Chain Officer at PVH Corporation from 2021 to 2023. Previously she served as an Executive Vice President of Supply of North America from 2020 to 2021 at PVH. Previously she served various leadership roles at Gap Inc.
